Good morning, Cubao!

The morning is never complete without the taho vendor sailing in promptly at 9:00 AM, and then at 11:45 AM everyday, as accurately as clockwork. It is from him that we buy taho and tofu cakes, which he makes himself. He is a very hard-working man. He is always cheerful, and knows all of us by name.

These days I love having tofu mixed with our food. I love the way it absorbs different flavors and spices.

The not so happy news is that, while waiting for the man to finish serving me, I suddenly saw in my mind that he will soon fall very ill.
