Finished watching Appointment With Death from Agatha Christie: The Poirot Collection. Set in old Syria, and the sets and props were exotic. Rococo, but I love rococo, though my family doesn't, and so, you won't find any brass and bead lamps in the house..
I must re-read the paperback sometime soon. There were many details that seemed off, and I wonder if this was the least faithful to the original. Other than those details, I loved this episode--like the rest in the series, it carried off the production with good performances, good scenery, good camera work, and very tasteful production design--no nudity, no sex, no cursing, no urban perversions.
