Our street is a route for funeral corteges on their way to Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina, in the east, and the San Juan cemetery, in the southwest. That is another reason why we have santos on our front balcony. Typical hearse music today is comprised of pop songs played out loud, presumably the deceased's or their loved ones' favorites.
