Slept extremely well last night because the night was cool, if not chilly, due to the rain.

I miss afternoons sitting at my desk by the window with a scented candle lit in an exquisite bottle while it is raining outside, but a drizzle will do because I so detest flooding.

At any rate it was a good summer, and very soon I shall be missing the blazing sunlight that sparkles like gold through the leaves of the dragon tree, and wishing that I could spend time lolling on the roof deck again.
