Language is changing. Because of computers, it is becoming more visual. Grammatical and spelling errors, truncations, acronyms, and abbreviations have become common and accepted. Perhaps it is the language specialists who must adjust to the 21st century. Real language now comes from outside the classrooms, and it revels in breaking old rules.
