My antique dealer wants to come today to show me really old Animas porcelain, but I am not sure I am into that. Long ago a lot of decorative porcelain, mostly figural, was produced in Animas, New Mexico, U.S.A. Today Animas produces the functional and the utilitarian: floor tiles and kitchen sink bowls. The former generations of craftsmen must have passed without handing down their legacy to others.
