Because there was nothing else on TV last night, I sat through Stolen Daughter on DIVA. That must be the fourth or fifth DIVA movie featuring a stolen child, which must be quite a popular theme. Yet, all four or five have the same endings--the peaking of the antagonist's psychosis (frequently mistaken for a good acting vehicle), a heroic rescue by a relative (definitely not a good acting vehicle), the antagonist knocked down unconscious or dead, and a family reunion replete with hugs and kisses. In the last analysis, whichever one you've watched, you've watched them all.
