For months I have been thinking out of the blue of T., who owned a farm in Leyte and invited me and the Spirit Questors to spend two nights there about 15 years ago. (The story, "The Lady of The Moon", is in my book titled Beings.) The last time I saw T. was on the MRT in 2013.

Also about 15 years ago, T. referred to me an old couple in Lucky Chinatown whose son was undergoing a depression because his girlfriend broke away from him and married someone else. I counseled the boy four times, also with two Spirit Questors in tow, and I have not heard from them ever since. I have been hearing the voice of that boy, who now should be a man, every night for the past months.

This afternoon I went through my Rolodex (yes, it pays to still keep a Rolodex) and retrieved T.'s old cell phone number. I sent him a message. His wife, J., called me some minutes later, to inform me that T. passed away of liver cancer, quickly and mercifully easily, in December 2013. Unfortunately the wife has no idea who the old couple in Chinatown were, but, I am certain, there is also a death there somewhere--either of the boy/man himself or of one of his parents.

Spirit Questors, do you still remember that couple in Lucky Chinatown? If you do, send me a Hangout message. I must get through to them somehow.
