Finished watching the original, 2007, pilot episode of Sanctuary. More questions are answered in this version and there are passages of crisper dialogue omitted in the final version, but the final version has more interesting sets--especially Dr. Magnus's office--and I am certain that the trial audience gave feedback against the kidnapping of Will (versus his willful visit to the Sanctuary), encouraging a minor to commit murder and be a witness to adult violence, hints of father-daughter incest, a lot of cleavage shots, and an inexplicable gaping wound in the boy's body.

The teleplay writer's main problem was introducing too many issues in one episode, resulting in disjointed sequences.
