Many students major in Religious Studies hoping to understand more about the religion they practice and hoping to become more religious. That is the very same hope of the faculty and staff of Religious Studies institutions.

I believe otherwise, and hold that unbiased, in-depth research as a student of Religious Studies will always result in making one skeptical of any religion.
