Actually, your memory is as good as it will ever be. Magical items have a way of making you forget all about them. Upon acquiring such an item--whether a taladro, a panyo, a booklet, or a medallion--I make it a point to record everything about it in my secret blog immediately. Even then I am unable to remember everything and need to refer to the blog frequently.
