The only reason I could hate rainy nights is that GTV loses signal on my TV. The screen pixelates and becomes a swirl of lavender, then colorful little square flowers, then a quilt of variegated patterns. When that happens I see things in the scene that are not supposed to be there. Watching ROTCH at 11:00 PM last night, for instance, the screen pixelated and I saw a young Filipino soldier in uniform wanting to communicate with his family. He was wearing a beret. Definitely not a part of ROTCH.
