Despite my eccentric interests, I find that Ancient Aliens is too far-fetched for my comfort. They should hire me as a consultant.

The basic flaw of this program is that it makes tangible discoveries fit dubious speculations instead of the other way around. The program does more harm than good, because it creates an unintended but destructive halo effect on conclusions from other historical findings that have to do with religions, human traditions, and sheer art.

The best attitude I could ever have to this series is seeing it as nothing more than entertainment.
