Searched high and low for a really good kitchen table that Aubrey can knead dough on, so definitely not glass, but everything is made of flimsy aluminum or laminate "wood". Stainless steel is too morgue-like, and clay sculptors' modeling tables too chunky.

Finally bought the very table that Henry's been using as a work table for the past 15 years. It looks like it's been used for 15 years indeed, but it's good and strong.
