Angelique is home all day today, and so I'll postpone my trip to the Sitio Catacutan Market to buy bird seed. Perhaps tomorrow.

I've trained myself as a single grandparent to stay home most of the time. When Angelique arrives from university, for instance, and I am not in my room, she makes a round of all other rooms in the house calling, "Grandpa?"

And sometimes Aubrey arrives from school and goes to my bedroom to ask me to pay for the taxi she took.

Not to mention having to turn the water tank valve on and off for M.'s cafe twice a day. There was one time when I left the house, came home late, and discovered that the cafe was out of running water for three hours.

Therefore, ______, never ask me again, "My place or yours?" It's always my place.
