Saw gorgeous rocking chairs in a shop yesterday afternoon but decided to pass on them.

I actually never buy rocking chairs because they rock all by themselves in my presence, and it frightens everyone.

On a more practical level, I also find that rocking chairs occupy so much space that it is impossible to place anything around them.
