When decorating house don't get falsely attached to cheap items and tell yourself, "When they get broken I'll replace them with things that are really nice." Just go ahead and replace them. Chances are, they will never get broken and you'll have to live with them for a long, long time.

The thing with cheap items is that everything you want to keep breaks, and everything you want to go away just doesn't.

Mean as it sounds, the same thing could apply to cheap friends. Some of them easily get broken. Others just overstay.
