Still reading a few pages from Gleason's book every night, and only because I am determined to finish reading it. It is quite unfortunate that it was written at a time when pretentious, pseudo-intellectual writing was in vogue, like convoluted art reviews in which neither the art works nor the reviews communicate with high-fidelity--or any kind of fidelity--to the general public.
