From the studio I set aside old, framed movie and theater posters that I initially considered throwing away but later on decided that I still wanted to keep. Among the paintings that are not mine are a watercolor by a Vietnamese refugee painted long ago while he was still in Bataan, a print by a Malaysian artist, two prints by Nonon Padilla, a collage by Roedil Geraldo, a pen-and-ink by Charlie Co, two huge paintings by another Bacolod artist whose name I cannot recall (he is a nephew of Roedil Geraldo), and an acrylic by Jeff. I plan to hang them around the house. I believe that there is nothing like original art (and posters that one really likes) to hang on one's walls. I am certain that I have more paintings in storage, which I will discover tomorrow.
Going through a studio is like opening a chest full of treasures!
